Balance at a moment in effective time
Reconstructs the balance as of a moment in *effective* time, not wall-clock insert time.
/v1/ledgers/{ledgerId}/accounts/{accountId}/balance-atReconstructs the balance as of a moment in effective time, not wall-clock insert time. Because every transaction carries a caller-suppliable effective_at alongside its immutable created_at, a backdated posting inserted today changes what this endpoint answers for a date last month, which is exactly what a bitemporal ledger is for.
